Wishful Wednesday

It's Wishful Wednesday again!

'I wish' .... I was fluent in another language in addition to English, and it would be Portuguese!

Portuguese is close enough to Spanish that it would be killing two birds with one stone. Living in southern Colorado, I find more and more how useful Spanish is. I know my basics, to get me proficiently through a conversation- but I am no where near fluent.

In college, I found interest in French. I LOVE that language. I have always wanted to do something in pharmaceuticals eventually, and I was somewhat interested in going to Canada to do so- so hence another reason to learn la langue. I have also traveled to France, where my initial infatuation started. However, French has not done me much good. HA.

My hubs served a mission in Brazil, where he had to learn Portuguese. Our R.S. Pres is Brazilian as well. He sometimes practices with her and another family in our ward. I wish he and I could practice together in a little 'love language.'

What a fun Wishful Wednesday! Thanks Kelsey! It was a good one!
If you're popping over from her blog- please comment/follow! I love new friends!!

Happy Wednesday!! :)

I think Portuguese would be fun too! I took four years of Spanish in high school, which would definitely help!

We had some men from church go to Brazil, and they certainly didn't know Portugeuese, so the stories were hilarious when they came back! haha

My mom went down the Amazon and said the Portuguese language was fascinating!! I think submerging yourself in the language would be the best way to learn it! Amazing!
